Cultivate Your Child’s Calling for Parents
Ideal for a
Homeschool Group
or
Women's Ministry
Workshop
5 hours (customizable)
This workshop equips you to look for ten significant clues to your child’s calling and develop “eyes” to see God’s sovereign hand in your child’s preparation process for their life calling. We will be looking at how to interpret your children’s strengths, weaknesses, personality, interests, past experiences and emerging spiritual gifts as they interplay and point to God’s design for your child’s potential calling. You will learn how to guide each of your children through the Cultivate Your Calling development stages, how to develop five different types of personal growth plans, and how to train your upper elementary age and older students to take charge of their own education and ongoing life purpose preparation.

SHAPE Ministry Development Class

Ideal for a
Retreat or
1-2 Day Workshop
4 hours w/ pre-work; 6 hours w/o pre-work
This workshop is designed for those looking to find their unique ministry niche, whether a student, adult, or church member. Ideally, the goal of this workshop is to launch new church members into ministry positions that match their SHAPE (spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality, and experiences). However, the course content is easily adaptable to Jr. High & High School students seeking their first ministry experiences as well as to seasoned servants who have not yet found the right ministry match.

Cultivate Your Character
Great
Afternoon
Workshop
or
Training
Event
2-3 hours
You will learn how to select a target growth area, select relevant Bible passages, and design a personal growth plan on your chosen character issue. This workshop also discusses how to form an accountability group and make rapid and intentional growth in highly focused areas. This idea can then be applied to your parenting efforts, homeschool co-op, Sunday School classes, youth groups or small discipleship groups.

Deliberate Discipleship:
A Paradigm Shift in Developing Disciples
Ideal for
Teachers,
Youth Workers
or
Small Group
Leaders
4 hours, includes the content of Cultivate Your Character workshop listed above
This workshop is designed for those in church leadership and for all Sunday school teachers, youth leaders, and/or small group leaders. First, we will identify eight key reasons why church goers can take discipleship classes for years and see little to no progress.  Then, we will look at a paradigm shift in teaching that will revolutionize the way you lead your various classes or small groups and greatly impact the results you will see. You will learn how to lead others in targeting specific areas for growth and teach them how to customize and implement a series of personal growth plans in their lives. Lots of tools provided.

Cultivate Your Quiet Time
Ideal for
Students,
New Believers,
or those
stuck
in a
Spiritual
Rut
4-5 hours (customizable)
This workshop covers a smorgasbord of ideas to spice up your quiet time, blow off the spiritual cobwebs, and energize even the most lethargic Christian into a vibrant, growing relationship with God. You will learn a variety of ways to pray, study the Bible, memorize and meditate on Scripture, renew your mind and spirit, develop spiritual disciplines, seek God’s will and guidance for any situation, and actively apply God’s Word to your life. Cultivating your quiet time is not an end in itself. Rather, it matures believers through the intentional development of numerous spiritual disciplines with the ultimate goal of seeing growth in their love toward God and love toward others (Mt. 22:37-39).

Note:  Please feel free to propose your own customized combination of workshop topics. I would be glad to adapt these workshops to the needs and available meeting time of your specific group. One hour workshops are available as a condensed overview of each topic, but omit much of the detail and application ideas given in the full workshops.
